Toshiba America Foundation

Learning starts with a solid foundation.

Toshiba has established the Toshiba America Foundation (TAF), a non–profit grant–making organization dedicated to supporting science and mathematics education in the U.S. TAF contributes to the quality of science and math education by investing in projects designed by classroom teachers for students in grades K – 12. Through hands–on experiments that explore real–world questions, TAF enables teachers to underscore the importance of science and technology in everyday life. The TAF also oversees the Toshiba Classic Scholarship fund. Held in conjunction with the Toshiba Classic golf tournament, this scholarship benefits standout high school seniors.

The Toshiba America Foundation was established in 1990 with endowment support from: Toshiba Corporation, Toshiba America, Inc; Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc.; Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc.; Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc.; Toshiba America Consumer Products, L.L.C.; Toshiba International Corporation; and Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc.
